can one of you post your memcard file so i can confirm this and possibly look for a workaround.
I don't want to get into this game if its going to lock.

I need a memcard in pSX's .bin format. why would you give me one in .psv format?
I can also use .mcr .gme .mcd .vgs .mc .ddf .ps .psm .mci .vmp files if I need but I don't know what a .psv file is for.
update: ok I see what the .psv format is for and that could be the source of your problems. it is always recommended that you save to your memcard because save states will introduce errors that will eventually lead to issues with the game . that could be what is happening here. try saving with a memcard before the freeze and see if that fixes the issue and in the future avoid using save states when possible.

Its simple google Aldos tools. There is a converter at that site for memory card formats, however I'm uncertain that a .psv is supported. Why not try that and if you sill have a problem I will try to help you farther.

thanks but I dont have any problems. the psv format is what pSX uses for its save states. I just didnt know right off the bat because I dont use save states. for mem card converters I use memcard rex.
the original problem devil2 was having is caused because he wasn't using mem cards. He will just have to start the game over or at least from his last mem card save.
