Yeah, my card just overall sucks. Right out the box, I've been seeing little dashes over certain types of images (a few website background, the Google logo, and a few other things, but almost never in games, from what I can tell). The Omega drivers were the first thing I tried using for my card, since they have done me well on my ATI card. I guess nVidia is not their strength, though, as the drivers crashed my computer and programs quite often. All I care about now is that I have one of the few sets of decent drivers that actually work for me.

How long ago was this? The omega nvidia drivers were discontinued a long time ago.. so you likely had been using old stuff. As of Christmas, they are now being updated again. www.omegadrivers.net/Right now I use a GeForce 8800GT. Such a great card.

No... I just got the card less than a month ago, so I was basically using their first release of nVidia drivers. And my card sucks because I have to stick with PCI cards... my current computer has no AGP or PCI-E slots to it. It's a full-sized tower, the computer was made only a few years ago... but for some reason, Compaq just seems to hate people who want AGP or PCI-E cards.
