Hmm... but both "Default" and "pSX Emulator" use the new smilies, right... Well, I was asking it because I just remembered that somebody once said something about new smilies (this thread) but I never actually took a look at them (I use the "Old Skin"; didn't like the color scheme of the other ones at the very first glance, so I guess I didn't see any smilie at the time they were out). After I did, I realized most people would see the new smilies instead of the ones I actually use -- which worried me, because I particularly dislike most of the new ones (sorry, TheCloudOfSmoke; nothing personal), since they are often not... 'faithful' to the feeling or whatever I'm implying by using them (in my opinion, anyway). The old "tongue" one, for example, is perhaps the most versatile smilie among them all, which can be applied with different connotations efficiently, unlike the new one (which seems a bit silly). I know I'm sounding like a crazy fool, in fact it doesn't matter all that much anyway. I just wanted to know if other people would still use the "Old Skin" by any chance so they'd be actually/most probably seeing what I intended to "say". Otherwise I'll just prevent myself from using them very often or maybe start using the old :-D ! No offense taken. If you all want, you all can come up with some new ones and we can use those instead. I just made the new ones because the old ones were completely fugly and boring imo. I just wanted to get a replacement in for the old ones as soon as possible because they were driving me crazy.

No offense taken. Cool... It seems that, by the last posts answering me, most (if not all) of the regulars and such either use the Default or the pSX theme, which makes me believe that they're cool with it. I guess I was just a bit scared with the 'tongue' one, maybe overreacted a bit...

I could change the smiley with no problem. I notice that it is a bit over the top. Any suggestions on making it better or how to make it better convey the tounge smiley that you have in mind?

I like these quite a bit. Only problem with putting them here would be that the set isn't complete for proboards. We'd have to use some of the old ones like for example, and they'd stand out like a sore thumb.

(when's the last time you wanted to express a kiss?)

Yeah. The icons that you see when replying to a message are the only icons that proboards supports. You can't make any new kinds of smileys, which sucks. And the ones that you take out will revert back to the old proboards default smileys (and no one wants that). So you have to make the whole set.
