I am making a console out of PC Hardware and using other hardware so psx controllers work, and i was wondering if the maker of PSX would make a quick start mode/feature in his emulator. this would include the emulator to; [glow=red,2,300]remember to start in full screen mode (or not) just insert a PSX disk and auto boot like a real PSX (if this is possible) Add a mouse support menu in game like KEGA or GENS so you can load iso's or change disk[/glow] If you could add these features to your emulator i would be most greatful and when my site is up about my console I will credit you to the MAX. Remember also this project I want to do is not for a profit of any kind, it's for personal use like building your own arcade machine. see link for reference members.shaw.ca/kevinu/arcade/

You can start the emulator in fullscreen by using the -f command line option.
You can also auto-boot a CD by passing its name on the command line.
So, to start a game in fullscreen you'd use a command line like this :
psxfin -f c:\mygames\mygame.bin

Would you have to do this through a shortcut or command line ?

Yes, you would; either of those would do. I have shortcuts on my desktop to start several games exactly like that, except that both my shortcuts and pSX Author's example are for images rather than CDs. But, with a reasonable size hard drive in your console and, presumably, nothing else but the OS, drivers and the emu, it's worth thinking of doing with images - you could have quite a library just on your hard drive! ;-) I'm not sure whether you could do this with a CD drive as well, but it's possible.
Edit: open a command line box and navigate to your pSX emu directory. Type 'psxfin -?' (without quote marks, obviously) and you'll get a list of commands you can use with it. Yes, looks like you can start it with a path to the CD. Have a look at the options.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to just put a disk in and have it boot as Playstation disks aren't auto booting. If you think of it, you can't do that on an actual Playstation, either.
