Oh, forgot to mention, using SCPH1001 BIOS. With frameskip off. Still not working.

Hey, just upgraded to v1.2 and WA2 is still giving me a black screen instead of a title screen. Any thoughts? Just letting you know that the game doesn't work for everyone.

Mine copy of Wild Arms 2 is working fine, seems like there is something wrong with your copy, cause anyone else got it working.
BTW i am using NTSC version.
Try deleting your psx.ini file , or search for another PSX bios file (try using SCPH7502 bios),lastly try ripping the game with CDRWIN with a low speed.
here are the MD5 check for the bios files (it is allowed to post it, right?)

Right, right. All this time and I never bothered to try a different BIOS. Thanks, SCPH7502 got it working.

if you used ultraiso make sure you're not using cd image convert tool... you have to mount the image and then create a new bin/cue or else it doesn't work.
