Heh exactly as the title says, the emulator isn't pausing when I switch to another window. It only pauses emulation when I actually view some dialog in pSX (configuration, converter). To be honest, I don't remember whether it's an issue with "Sleep when idle" or "Pause when not focused," but yeah, you get the point - Mobile Intel Pentium 4, 3.06GHz, non-HT - 512MB RAM - nVidia GeForce FX Go 5200 w/64MB VRAM - Ubuntu 6.10 - nvidia-glx 1.0.8776+2.6.17.7-11.1 Edit: Found a lead... it works fine as long as I don't enter one of the child dialogs for pSX (file picking, drive picking, configuration, CDZ conversion, etc). If I do, pausing no longer works after I close the dialog.

Mine pauses Ok, Ultima; I have both 'Pause when not focused' and 'Sleep when idle' enabled.

TBH, I've been suspectingmy glx driver, but I'm not really sure and don't feel like messing with something as important as drivers at the moment, I can't test that theory =\ Edit: VERY odd, I'm testing FF7 right now, and pausing works properly... O.O Edit: And now it's not working again... >.> Edit: Found a lead... it works fine as long as I don't enter one of the child dialogs for pSX (file picking, drive picking, configuration, CDZ conversion, etc). No, it's not your driver, Ultima, the same happens with me if I open a menu dialogue and close it...
Didn't try that before because I was running the game from a text file so everything was already set.
BTW do you think it would be a good idea to split the relevant sections of the forum into Linux and Windows? Otherwise we're going to get confusion as to which platform threads refer to unless people put it in the thread title - and are they going to do that?

Title is probably best, IMHO. I'll see how it pans out over the next few weeks, though, I suppose.
