hi, since this emu is already near perfection (for me tough), the only thing that i'd REALLY like to see is an 'hardware stretch' option (or some kind of zoom-like stretch (like in Kega Fusion)!!because you know, i know it is supposed to emulate the real pixel ratio and all, but on my tv, in FF8, when a battle lasts about 7-8 minutes, and all i see is a big black border and a shining (and flashing like crazy) tiny white bar at the bottom, i feel border epileptic ! ... um, thinking of it, there's a second thing i'd like to see added, drive speed limit (2x,4x,etc...) My LG dvd drive is making so much noise thats is all i have to ask for... thanks!! Atari EDIT: some mistakes. ;D

Black border thing is in the FAQ, as for the flashing bar, I think that already known issue. The drive speed thing would be nice. Anyway Carry on meatbag .

I remember on some DualShock PlayStation games, like Final Fantasy VIII after/during the plain text copyright, would Auto Enable DualShock Mode on the controllers. Would it be possible to have pSX do this?

I think there should be a 'proper' full screen mode. Where the emulator screen is all you can see, no task bar or blue bar up the top. Please correct me if this is already possible but as far as I am aware it isn't and would be a great thing to have.

My LG dvd drive is making so much noise You can always make a image true, but i prefer to play directly from the CD, it does not uses any space on my HD, all i have to do is put the CD in et voila! The real psx was reading at 2x (correct me if i'm wrong). Not that i want it to be that slow, 8X is fine. Since it loads a lot, hearing the drive spin up /down every minutes is kinda annoying. i'm not saying it's the emu's fault but i'd be cool to have the option EDIT: some mistakes

You can use external software (such as Nero Drivespeed) to limit the speed of your drive.

i dunno if this has been mentionned beforce, but it would be nice to have the emulator autodetect the presence of a psx game in the cd-rom when loading the emu, instead of having to click on insert disc. there could be an option in the configuration to set the default drive to look up to. all in all, GREAT emu in response to Sune_S''You can use external software (such as Nero Drivespeed) to limit the speed of your drive.'' yea i know, but i think it would seem like more of a complete emu with this option. instead of always having to load a third-party software to make something work better in another one. ;D

**I may have requested this before but I'll suggest this again!**
I suggest that the eject CD option should be fixed or removed as this crashes the emulator.
Also, the Config menu should be separate from the file menu. So it can be seen easily by other users of pSX.

Eject does not crash the emulator if used properly, and if it does, it's likely your computer that's the problem, as it works fine for most people. Not sure what you mean by the "config" menu being separate from the File menu, as there is no "config menu" in pSX.

I think he may be referring to something I myself suggested sometime ago in here...

I can't see how? can you tell me when is the best time to use the eject CD option with out crashing the emulator. Also, as for my computer (er..sorry I mean my laptop/notepad) I see there is nothing wrong with it as I've had it since September.

When, exactly, are you ejecting...? Anyway, I might've been too hasty in saying it's your computer, but the fact that it works for a lot of people just goes to show that removing it should not be an alternative to fixing it.
