Get it in the public betas section: www.pcsx2.net/---------------------------------------------------------------------- Noteable changes in this beta: Improved handling of VU flags, fixes SPS on Dark Cloud/Chronicle, God of War and stops the falling through the floor problem on Metal Gear Solid 3. FPU Fixes for ordering errors (text on Tales of Legandia) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- PCSX2 has come a long way...several games are playable even on a fast AGP/Pentium 4 system like mine. I recommend Pete's SPU, the GSDX graphics plugin and using images rather than physical media. S

Ah poop, it still doesn't play Beyond Good & Evil, which is pretty much the only game I'm interested in right now as far as PCSX2 goes. Oh well.

Hell, it won't even start on my new computer (probably because, while the integrated card supports PS2.0 and is pretty new, it's still an integrated card after all). As soon as I have about $100, I'm gonna be picking up a PCI-E x16 ATI card and giving this another try (along with Neverwinter Nights 2, which unfortunately won't even start with my current graphics setup).
Makes me rather sad, since the integrated graphics otherwise works extremely well for anything I play. Just that some of the newest, high-end stuff like these two things don't like it so much.

Is that a gfx plugin? I doubt it will help, since the problem with the game is that it acts like the pad is not plugged in. None of the different pad plugins help either, so the problem is probably in the core emulator. I expect that when that problem passes, the game will be playable, since Prince of Persia is playable, and they both use the Jade Engine. But we shall see.

Nice to see a few fixes in a while for the emu. I still find the MGS3 falling through floors bug quite amusing, but it annoyed me sometimes during gameplay.
My system's integrated Intel GPU runs OK most of the time on PCSX2, although it regularly slows down and I'm stuck with the lowest res and GSDX. I'll be buying a new machine soon, which hopefully runs the emu at full speed.

Lucky. I'm running the Intel GMA 3100 (128MB dedicated graphics memory), and the damn emulator refuses to accept that my graphics card isn't a *complete* piece of crap and *has* PS 2.0 support. I have the latest drivers for it and everything. I'm starting to think that maybe if I get better/different drivers, it might actually run. And obviously, it's not like I intend to try and actually *play* something on there (even with my Intel Dual-Core 2.2 GHz processor and 3 GB of RAM, I don't expect much above 10-15 fps on the easier games)... I just want to see what it can do, you know?
