Last night I started getting a trojan horse alert for PSXfin... There's no option to heal the infected file and even when I delete it and install a fresh download, I still get the trojan horse alert. I don't want to have to get rid of PSXfin, but at the same time I don't want to risk playing with fire. Could there be a problem with the .exe or is my AVG just acting up?

If you downloaded pSX from psxemulator.gazaxian.com/ , you should be fine. According to my Anti-virus, Avira AntiVir, its a clean executable. In short it's a false positive. If you wish to, contact AVG, other than that it's just a minor nuisance.

I too had this detection this morning, though I was convinced it was a false positive due to having the file on my laptop for about 2 years and it never having been picked up until the recent update. Thanks for the clarification, Truth Unknown.

Yeah, I figured it'd be a false alarm...
Okay, I ditched AVG, switched to another antivirus program and redownloaded the executable. Everything's fine now. Thanks a lot!
