Unfortunately, neither of your links work, hoss - clicking either of the links doesn't work, copying and pasting either of the entire links doesn't work and copying and pasting the gameyeeeah.com sections from either of the links doesn't work.

Adaptor: Universal USB Adaptor Supports: PS2, X-Box and Gamecube (case only lists PS2 controller and I don't have a PSX controller to test with)
I got this adaptor at Wal-Mart but it seems to work well except for the rumble function. I only tested it with my PS2 controller and whenever the game rumbles the controller will continue to rumble continuously until I turn it off. I know how it's suppose to rumble becasue I have a Logitech Rumble Pad 2 and it works perfectly with pSX, including the rumble. I used the drivers that were included on a mini-CD that came with the adaptor.
Also I know this post is a little old but I got this adaptor yesterday and felt I should at least add it. It seems to be a newer adaptor since it says it has Vista support on it.

There was actually an adapter reports thread that certainly ran to a few pages a while ago, Haldrie.

Maybe a moderator could merge the two threads? And fix the page width as well...It's stretched like someone posted a huge image.

Nope, threads can't be merged. And um, what thread are we referring to...? This thread has always been the converter discussion thread, hasn't it?
Ugly post up above fixed.

Sorry about that, I assumed Patrick knew what he was talking about. I won't do it again. ;D ;D
Thanks for the fix.

Hmm... maybe he was getting confused with the PC configurations thread, which is quite long at this point. I know after reading this, I had to look back to realize that this *is* the thread for the topic. Haldrie: My friend got that same adapter from Wal-Mart. Though apparently, he's been using the GC controller to play things. I'll have to find this adapter or try to borrow his, but he said something about the GC controller working fine with pSX. I have no idea how much he tested it, so hopefully I can find this thing and try it out for myself. It's over by the video game section I assume?

I suppose I could report the converter that I have in use right now. I mentioned it in another thread a while back, but since this is The Thread™ and it looks like this. It has both PSX/PS2 and N64 slot, but only one can be at use any given time. The converter itself has the switch to......switch the mode. It's native to Windows XP (atleast SP2, probably on earlier builds as well), meaning that you don't need any special drivers for it. It doesn't (seem to) support rumble, but who cares about rumble anyway. Only downside is that if you switch the pad mode, you will have to recalibrate the N64 pad each time. PSX/PS2 doesn't seem to need calibration at all. But I haven't changed pads in a while and I don't feel like digging my pad collection to verify all this. Bottom line is... It works very well with everything I have thrown at it. pSX, PCSX2, Tomb Raider Legends/Anniversary, Prince of Persia Trilogy, Second Sight etc etc.

Mika - I have the exact same thing. It only works with a few N64 controllers (e.g. one grey one works, the other grey one moves entirely randomly by itself!). The PlayStation side has some trouble too. About 90% of the time, controllers won't connect properly; this will make the control panel test point down/right and no buttons will work. Poor soldering on the connector side is the culprit. After ripping out the all-white(!) wires and doing a proper soldering job, the adapter works perfectly. I haven't tested the rumble feature (I only have two PS2 controllers), but all buttons work fine (the D-pad in analog mode is mapped as buttons 13, 14, 15 and 16). PS2 controllers can't use light button presses, only digital mode. Very noticeable difference when driving in GTA3, Vice City or San Andreas! On the driver side, the Boom PSX+N64 USB converter is supported natively under Windows XP (all), and works in Windows 9x; a floppy disk is provided for these systems. On the box, it says it also supports Mac OS.

well i have some weird issues with my PS2/PSX to PC converter. I tried playin castlevania and chrono cross. for some strange reason when i hold down a button for ex in castlevania where the longer you hold down the button the longer the jump etc the controller presses it again. so i hold down the X button and alucard performs a double-jump at random times, also if i keep it down he will continue to jump every few seconds for no reason. this also happens with chrono cross when im using the key items menu. strangely the same happens with aria of sorrow in VBA (Soma double-jump etc) but it doesnt happen with ePSXe (now thats weird) same stuff with LoK Defiance , no problem with RE4. i also tried using a second controller ,same stuff. this is really buggin me
