Someone like Gamesoul Master will answer you when he sees your post, budda0282. There's no need to pester the forum for an answer.

Yeah dude, settle down... I try to be on here as much as possible, but sometimes I just don't have time. Did you try the updated version recently mentioned in this post? It's also linked in the first post. This updated version, I created specifically because of this same problem that somebody else recently had, and it worked for him, so maybe it'll work for you too. You can try both links in that post if you want. The first one is the original program before any modifications, and the second link is the one containing the most recent update that addresses this problem.

I apologize I didnt mean to pester. I didn't think my post was clear. I dont believe it...its working! WOW! Thank you so much. I cannot figure out why it wasnt working before, it just quit. Again, thanks a million times over.
BTW, would you know a code for FFVII to fill the limit bars when buttons are pressed? I know the ultimate code doe that, but it also makes you invincible. Im trying to find one just for the limit bars.

Hmm... well, the following will turn on all your characters' limit breaks...
D0099BEC FFE0 80163762 0007
I haven't tested it yet, but it should work. I'll test it in a little while. While I'm at it, I'll attach a joker command to it. Be back in a little while once I get this figured out.
Edit: Nevermind... why would I bother to attach a joker command to a code when CEP can be used to turn codes on or off at any time? I guess tonight is just one of those nights... XD.
Hmm... the code is only working for two characters for me... I'll have to see if I can find a better one (or just modify the Ultimate Code to only have the limit break features).
Edit 2: Alright, here's a much better code. That first one merely sets your status as "limit break mode" without actually filling the bar (which seems a bit too "hackish" for my tastes)... this following code will simply cause your limit bar to fill up to full whenever it's on (basically keeping you in limit break mode forever until you turn it off)...
800F5E6A 00FF 800F5E9E 00FF 800F5ED2 00FF Each line corresponds to the character being modified, so if you only want the first character (Cloud for most of the game, obviously) to have infinite limit breaks, just put in that first line. You could even enter each one separately if you want to use them as such... that way you can save them like that, and activate/deactivate them individually without having to enter/erase lines.

I was playing a round a bit and i got one that seems to work. I cut off the first three lines of that ultimate code, and entered D0062D78 0085 800F5E6A 00FF D0062D78 0085 800F5E9E 00FF D0062D78 0085 800F5ED2 00FF
in battel press l1+l2+square to fill the limit bars up!
How about one for AP gain? All the ones I can find give you some ridiculous amount of AP! Im trying to fund one that is kind of like an AP multiplier...like increase AP gained by 2, or 4. Im not looking to gain 64,000 Ap every battle, just enough to increase the amount gained to be more realisitc

Maybe this thread should be stickied? Anyway, are there still plans to update the codelist.txt?

It was stickied, and then got unstickied (can't remember the reason why, but probably to cut down on stickies and because it was linked someplace else like in the FAQ).
Well... things have started to suck up my life lately, so I'm not sure about updating the codelist.txt file. It would be a *monstrous* task, and I'm not sure if there's enough people up to it besides me, and how much it'd actually be useful in comparison... :/
If many people show demand for it, I may consider starting on it.

Hello, I've not had the chance to use cep yet, but in generality, it seems to be pretty close to Pec. Now would the codes you post here be useable on Pec?
I use ePSXe because pSX gave me issues that were unresolvable.
And also, if they would work, is there a possible way for you to post a code for all the materia in the game FF7? I've beaten the game over and over again, and it gets monotonous after a while if it takes 30 hours or so. I've gotten quite a few codes to work on Pec, but I have yet to find a code for materia besides getting the Master Summon Materia. I tried other codes for the Master command materia and master magic materia, but none of those worked either.
So a little help would be nice, and I'm also thinking of trying cep because alot of people have been refering to it.

Yes, codes will be the same regardless of which program.
Code for all material:
50005B04 0001 8009CE60 FF00

Thank you very much. I'll try these codes out, and hopefully they work.
Also kinda a side thing, I've noticed that for the american version of ff7 that some of the japanese (sorry for spelling can't be bothered to find it) codes work. Is that just a glitch or is it something that might have been intended?

Probably neither. The codes that would work for both simply do so because the game isn't *that* much changed between regions, and there are some things that will simply end up being in the same memory location for both versions. The amount of codes that would be the same vary from game to game, but most games will end up having *some* amount of codes that work on the same game between different regions.

I am having a heck of time getting CEP to work (for final fantasy VII), I really don't know what I am doing wrong. I have followed everyone's advice, and still nothing. I will post the basics, and see if anyone can guide me in the right direction, and stop my frustration....thanks in advance.
Windows Vista PSX 1.11 DAEMON tools Final Fantasy VII, european PAL version ( i have tried EU codes too) CEP (a lot of different versions, including the new 2007 version that a few of you fine people made)

The problem could very well be with your disc image. What format is it? Have you tried playing from the original disc (*not* a burned one)?

I've got a problem with this thing. Not sure if I should post it here or not but... I'm trying to cheat on Final Fantasy Tactics (Really hard part... Pissed me off to no end z.z) and none of the cheat I put in work. I'm using V1.13 of the PSX Emulator and the cheat device talked about here. The cheats work fine with Final Fantasy 9, but not with Tactics. Any idea on how to fix this?
