There is one obscure BIOS not covered by that topic. R3400A.bin is a PSX CPU emulation BIOS found in the PS2 console used to run PSOne games with PS2 hardware. PSX bios is contained in the first 512kb of the PS2 bios. And wtf is R3400A.bin? R3400 is a CPU, how can you dump a CPU?

Looking into the MESS, only 3 more bioses are available - SCPH-1002, SCPH-3000, SCPH-3500. I guess, there's no a single reason not to include all the dumped bios sets into the MESS. Ah, so the list's from MESS.

Ah, so the list's from MESS. Nope, I was given it in the IRC few years ago, that's why it was a bit outdated.

I wouldn't really consider your list "outdated" as opposed to "possibly incomprehensive". I'm not even sure it's really incomprehensive, as I'm not sure which models share identical BIOS versions ;o

I don't see why that needs to be done if what I said directly above your post is the case.

I don't see why that needs to be done if what I said directly above your post is the case. Ok I deleted on what I said. I will forget about MESS then. Oh I forgot to say this. Don't add SCPH-2000 on the option. Btw: I found on what your talking about right here. www.playstationmuseum.com/Hardware/Access/SCPH-2000/

Me and you haven't seen a blue psx box with a SCPH-2000 on the bottom yet. I think it is time for these people start showing everyone some snapshots of their PSX. Top, bottom, front, back, left and right of the box. Do we just want the infos that might not be true or we want snapshots that prove to us it is real? This is getting me where I will go nuts over these infos people are giving. I thought it just a plug in for keyboard and mouse. Could it be that people give out a fake SLUS number on that plug in for the keyboard and mouse? What is wrong giving out the infos with the snapshots? I give out my psx snapshots and it not hard to do. ;D

I think that kinghanco raises a pretty good point. I wanna see this machine with my own eyes. I wanna see *anybody* with it...
I'm not saying that it's real or not real. But there is so much debate over whether it exists or not, that unless somebody here actually *has* it (or even a legit BIOS for it), I don't think there's any reason to take SCPH-2000 into consideration when listing all the models in any kind of list.

In that case, I'm probably going to have to remove a bunch of of others from the list as well -- not just SCPH-2000 -- as I've found some of the model numbers by simply finding references on Google too.

Mind if I lend a hand with some suggestions on that? I'm just gonna go and check what you have on your list really quick...
Alright... I'm starting to think... maybe all the DTLH models should be taken off. I've grabbed every copy of the DTLH BIOS files I could find, to see if any of them were actually unique, but every one of them came up as either exactly identical to specific SCPH BIOS files, or were simply fake or corrupt. I'm pretty sure that nobody actually has a true DTLH BIOS, but of course... the 3000-series *does* exist, so leaving those would make sense. I'm not too sure about the 1000-series and 2000-series models you have listed. I'll continue to do some combing...
The SCPH-2000 and SCPH-3500... that's about it, I think, for the rest of the list.
As a side note, you don't seem to have SCPH-103 on your list, the Asian PSOne...

SCPH-103 is actually there in the source code, but I don't see it on the dropdown list either ;o ( Edit: Silly mistake in my code...) And SCPH-3500 definitely exists. Edit: Where did you find references for SCPH 5001 and 5002? I've yet to find one that wasn't a mistake referring to PS2 (quite simply because people can't seem to figure out the difference between 5001 and 50001, and 5002 and 50002).

You're absolutely correct to bring that up. As a matter of fact... I *haven't* seen a valid reference to it. I merely forgot to mention it, because I thought somebody here tried arguing with me a while ago that they a 5000-series model. But... as I think back on it, I think it was patrickp referring to a different model. I will continue to search, but I haven't seen it in all the reference pages I've been saving for the last few months.
As a very off-topic side-note... just installed the latest version of Opera. IE7 was refusing to display certain flash players (despite me trying to change every relevant setting to let it show). Firefox and IE6 show it just fine, but I thought this would be a good opportunity to test Opera finally. And I must say... I don't think I'll be using any other browser for quite a while. The capabilities and customizable options have blown me away.

Opera FTW *continues searching* As of now, the only ones I'm looking for real references to are SCPH2000 (I'm probably not going to find it), SCPH5001, and SCPH5002. Some new ones I found were DTLH2000, DTLH2500, and DTLH2700 (this one seems like Net Yaroze -- DTLH3001 -- but for some reason, the model number definitely exists as well).

I've been looking into the DTL-H3001, and do you know what I keep finding...? I found a few that had some pics, and a couple of them had pics of the back. And while these pics were different from each other (and definitely not fake), when I saved the image and enhanced it to the best of my ability... all of them had the model number DTL-H1001. Isn't that odd...? Check out this link. Look toward the bottom right corner of the page, and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. Still searching though... Also look at the last paragraph on this page. First post on this page. Search for "5001" on this page to see another example. The results are getting slimmer... not sure how many more I could find... is that enough, or do you need something more solid?
