Lewpy mentioned this: You have to try it. Simply run it with command line parameter of "-?" and you will get this Code: ENJOY! Thanks to him!

Hi, Thanks for all the feedback. Some answers to some of your questions: Plugins: the emulator does not support plugins and probably never will - not using plugins allows the emulator to be more efficient and stable. Also I think that configuring/choosing plugins can make it difficult for newbies to get started. Working straight out of the box is a major plus for me - when I want to play a game I don't want to have to mess around with plugins and configuration - I just want to play it Compatibility: I'm not sure how pSX compares with ePSXE or any of the other emulators - I expect its fairly similar because I've been working on it a long time. I have completeled many RPGs using it XBOX: at one point I did port it to xbox but I no longer have access to a devkit so I doubt I'll ever release this (maybe I'll pick up a cheap one someday and get back to it... I don't know). Mikolas: it should run on quite low spec PCs - make sure you have DX9 installed - if not send me an email an I'll try to figure out whats wrong. PS2: yeah - I am working on PS2 emulation - it doesn't run anything commercial yet though... Registry: it does not put anything in your registry - all options are stored in psx.ini (which you can hand edit in notepad if you want). Games not working: I'll try to look at some of these soon - I know about Tekken3, but the others are new to me... Thanks.

Awesome, thanks and keep up. You are doing a good job. Take your time! P.S. Maybe you need to get rid of annoying black screen every time click pSX.exe, lol. But just take your time because it is only a beginning and hope you will get rid of this black screen. ;D

Maybe, this emulator will be the sucessor of Virtual Game Station.

Very impressive, thank you "pSX Emu Author" No Plugin ? Thank you the God ! What do you think about CHD format support ?, it would be a good feature. So you don't need to convert from CDZ to CHD if I want to use M.E.S.S (OR vice-versa). Just an Idea to make the thing more "standard". Your emulator Rock. Again thank you !

Great first release, but two things... No support for clonecd images. I ripped my whole library to this, and it is a popular modern way of ripping psx games. I tried mounting them to a virtual drive and using the cd function, but that won't work either. Told me I didn't have aspi. Installed forceaspi 1.8. That just crashes it and asks me to dump something. Essentially, I can't even use your emu... so.... yeah.

I'll look into supporting CHD - sounds like a good idea. I will hopefully support clonecd too...

I'm really impressed by how little cpu power this emu uses. Only about 25 percent on my comp. And in my book, thats AWESOME. Keep it up!!! I've got this homepage bookmarked in my browser

Thanks arkay. The emulator tries to use as little CPU as possible in Windowed mode (unless you disable the "sleep while idle" option). In Fullscreen mode it tries to use the video card to synchronise itself (which is usually possible when the card is capable of doing 59-61hz). This also usually enables the CPU to sleep while its not needed (nvidia drivers are very good at this). A nice side effect of doing this is that you normally get silky smooth 60fps motion with very few (if any) dropped frames! Just trying to do my bit to help with global warming

everybody said that already, but it doesn't hurt to say again... AWESOME! it's the first PnP PSone emulator i've seen. Keep up the good work! I saw the replay about XBox port and how little CPU time it uses, I may be dreaming but how about a PPC2003SE port? I'd love to play SotN on the go. Regards
