Try to play Xenogears. It sounds not so good but you have done a great job! i have to say i am working in another psx emulator coded in MASM32 from December. By the moment doesnt play any game. The cpu is about 90%. THe cop0 is about 60%. cop2 and others is 0% ...but the goal i had in mind is something like the emu you have programed. Could i ask you any question if i need info? Thnx

SilverMAX: to fix the sound in Xenogears start the emulator with the -S option - it should sound perfect after that. (eg. psxfin -S c:\games\xenogears.bin).
Yeah - the emulator is written in C++ with a few bits of assembler (mainly glue code for the recompiler).

Any chance we can load mounted images in this. For example alcohol clones, clone cd images, .isos etc that have been mounted on a virtual drive. This would be superb!

Tested Chrono Cross today. It's almost perfect !!! Just a little slowdown in the beggining of the battle... It's running at 59+ FPS ingame, but strangely it's 42-50 FPS in the menus o.O

Google for WNASPI32.dll. Either way, booting from CD might not be working properly. It's best to make a BIN/CUE file at the moment.

Now, he did mentioned. Just ignore CD drive for now because it is not working properly. Just use bin/cue for now. He will try to add it someday.

First of all: your emu is great. The first game i have tried don't work very fine (Bloody Roar II [SCUS-94424]) with frameskip the sound work fine but without sounds bad. And the game is very "frameskipped". The MDEC plays great. The second game i have tried was Dracula X. The game works flawless.
One thing i would add: The emu also suport the img format and I suppose ISO too. it would be good that you add them in to the commondialog's filter.
Thanks for all.

Thanks for great work!!!
Final Fantasy Tactics - plays OK (though text messages sometimes between the battles runs too slow or don't fit in boxes).

I'm looking forward to test this emu (as soon as i get home...). BTW pSX Author, have you considered about GPL-ing the source of your emu? As you said before the emu is coded in C++ with little code in assembler, so i whas thinking it can be easily ported to another platforms (at least the core). it would be good to have a nice emu like yours in Linux...

pSX Author already said he's not interested in opening the source at the moment...
