Great! The tenth anniversary version Looking forward to try this out, I wonder how FF7 plays now that sounds are fixed as stated in the updates summary. I wonder what this will do for FF8. I second on emulover's comment, computer terms in dutch language does sound a bit weird. But it is inevitable... or I should make a better translation?

I had another dutch coder look over the translation and he has made some adjustments - I will post a WIP soon...

good idea.. I spotted a few 'mistakes' indeed. And yes computer terms in Dutch are weird... already 4 coders looked at it now. I think if you keep on asking for 2nd opinions everyone will have their own translation. PsxAuthor 'mth' did the most parts in the proof reading. My Dutch starts to suck more and more anyway

Thanks for the new release! The dutch translation is really annoying, i dont want to offend the person who translated it, but in the netherlands we dont translate a lot of the technical terms eventhough its technically possible, when translated they dont make any sense at all. if i didnt know better i would say it was machine translated It isn't... there aren't really good translations for save states/machine state or whatever other comon used terms we had to translate. The translation you saw already was the result of 3 Dutch people looking at it. I'm not trying to make excuses but Dutch simply sucks for a translation... simply because unlike almost all other languages the Dutch just take mostly English words. French has the micro ordinateur, German die Rechner and Dutch Computer. For this reason I told psxAuthor I wouldn't translate the debugger since all Dutch programmers know English is some sort of twisted way. I has people in mind who did not know any English (like parents with kid who wanted to start a game) although... non English speaking people in Holland are pretty hard to find.

Yeah but anyway who has any interst and ability to emulate PSX knows enough english to leave the technical terms in tact
Things like "memory card" or "memory unit" are not translated in dutch, when you go to a store to buy them the logo, label and pricetag will all state "memory card" or "memory unit"
What could be an option is 2 dutch versions, dutch and tranditional dutch or something
Although people above the age of 55 might have trouble with english, everyone below that age can understand english.
Its just the way things go here, dutch dont waste time making up their own words, they just use the foreign word

Ok, finished the translation Btw: Even though the native name of the language is Hrvatski i put Croatian because it is like that in most international software so i'm used to it and i believe that other Croatian users are used to that either. But pSX Author if you want put "Hrvatski" as the name of the lang, but it is not that much of the difference
