Fine...if your not willing to help me on this...even though i STILL cannot get access to your specific area for a proper report and assistance...thus trying to get help in other areas that I CAN get to......I have reported this issue to other authorities ( not in your forum ).... you dont need to respond to this...just know that there is an official investigation being done about this.... Since it doesn't appear you have contacted the admins here about this - as they would certainly have done something about it - we can only surmise you're a troll and add "get a life." "Official investigation" - don't make me laugh, timewaster!

mastercontrol, you should know that pSX it's far to be perfect. If you won't wait until pSX runs Diablo and Brain Dead 13, try Xebra, it's more compatible, but want an high machine for run proprley the games! P.S. : if you want to play Brain Dead 13 without the scratched sounds, just turn off the volume

I think we're talking troll here, stranger90. As the saying goes: "Don't feed the trolls!" Edit: excellent advice on the Braindead 13 sound problem, though!

mastercontrol: There's no retriction on who can post in the Game Compatibility forum. I call bull, but whatever. @all: Drop the subject. There is absolutely no reason why this kind of junk should be in this release announcement thread.

Try running pSX from a terminal and see what error messages you get, deacon. I don't know about Mandriva, but in Ubuntu, pSX requires libgtkglext1 to be installed in order to run.
Is your videocard running on a working 3d driver and do you have a working soundcard? Apart from those, I'm just guessing, because you've provided hardly any information on your problem.

it comes up with "select your language" then short flickering... then in Terminal there is: PAD 0 Speicherzugriffsfehler... (Memory Access Error)
I have only "libgtkglext" installed, theres no other "libgtkglext" in any different form....

You will need libgtkglext1; whether that's actually what's referenced by libgtkglext in Mandriva, I don't know. It may the same thing, or it may be that you'll need to enable extra repositories or find a package you can install it with. I don't know why you're getting a memory access error. At a guess, you have a corrupted copy of pSX (try downloading it again), a dodgy BIOS (try another one) or you have probems with your memory. Try running Memtest86 - download a copy if you don't already have it available in Mandriva. What sort of system are you using?

Presumably you're running Mandriva on a computer, deacon. Well, what is it?

Presumably you're running Mandriva on a computer, deacon. Well, what is it? Sorry for being so long offline I do not understand your question very well... yes its Mandriva if you're talking 'bout the machine itself, it is as follows: P4 with 3,2 Ghz HT 2 Gib RAM Many Hdd's with almost over 1 TB Memory, i presume Soundblaster Audigy2, which works as "ALSA", i think Geforce 6600 GT AGP-Version The OS is: Mandriva Spring 2007 (if thats the right name for it)

If you're using that should AFAIK work perfectly well in Linux, but it may increase the possibility that one of your drives may be faulty - if pSX is using a faulty drive, this may be the cause of your problem.
You need to test your RAM with Memtest86, linked above if your OS doesn't include it (Ubuntu, for instance, gives you the option to run Memtest at boot).
