Well thats a bummer but thanks alot for all ur help guys I really appreciate it I thought if I installed DirectX 10 it would of worked but that was a dud No good, superpsx - I would suspect there are very few games that need DirectX 10 as yet, and pSX won't even work with it. Vista users (Vista comes with DirectX 10) have to install DirectX 9.0c to get pSX to work. As far as information on Playstation BIOSs, and a lot of other information about the Playstation and its development, is concerned, see the wikipedia entry for the Playstation.

the reason why is because microsoft put a block on all emulation software but there are loop holes like using dosbox my buddy went and got vista purposely to find ways to use them and find other loop holes if you use dosbox and a frontend u can get around it

Grate job with the pSX v1.12, But mabe for your next version 1.13 you could clean it up a bit?, like the joypad arrow keys in the correct possition and your playstation "icon" from the old ps to the smaller version ps.
This will make a grate and smart looking version!.

like the joypad arrow keys in the correct possition They are correct already. Time and time again people look at the pictures and think that they are arrows. Time and time again someone has to mention that they are not. In the pad the so called arrows point in the center of the pad. Look and compare. I do think that there is something that could be done to ease the confusion though. Didn't CloudOfSmoke make a nice animated pad image sometime ago this in mind? I wonder if he ever mentioned it to Author.

What's wrong with the controller direction buttons, drwhojoe? Have you ever looked at the direction buttons on an actual Playstation - or even read the FAQ? And why would pSX Author want to change the icon for pSX? What's wrong with it - it happens to be a very neat design. Edit: got there first, Mika - with a pretty picture, too! Great (not grate ) minds... do something alike... can't remember what...

When changing discs (CDs or images), scott, first you need to click the File -> Eject CD command, then Insert CD image or Insert CD drive as appropriate. pSX still occasionally crashes when doing this, though, so if you get the opportunity to save just before switching discs, do so - you can usually use such a save to start the next disc with if the switch doesn't work.
pSX is intended not to be an enhancing emulator: instead, it aims at accurate Playstation emulation. Once you've used pSX for a bit you should realise, if you've used enhancing Playstation emulators as well, just how much the enhancement can distort the image.
