Recording + Re-recording would be the best option yet in a PSX-emulator! I think that's a pretty hard thing to do cause of the random accuracy of th cd-rom

Something that would be nice would be a simple utility to make a memory card outside of psx And maybe an option to format it for you
This would be helpful if you like to create a seperate memory card for each game

sweet ive got it figured out, although i still think it would be sweet not to have to download external software
a create memory card button would be nice and im sure it wouldn't be that hard to do
i could do that and im not very skilled at programming
All im saying is that it would be nice to have a BATCH memory creator for creating many differnt memory cards at once and saving time in the process
Im sure that not alot of people would need that feature but, you never know
I guess not everybody likes to create seperate memory cards for every game they own LOL

Hello! First I want to say is, zhat this is the best psx emulator I've ever used! On my PC it works better than epsxe with newest plugins. I'm no Computer-Freak and so I think it's super, that controlling it is so easy. Creating memory cards is very simpel, too, I think. Everything is really cool! The only thing missing is a cheating software (like gamershark, actionreplay or something else). So I wanted to ask, if this feature will be created soon, or not? You're the best! Go on doing so!
PS Sorry for my really bad english!

Im sure that not alot of people would need that feature but, you never know It's not a bad idea for a feature to the program. Click a menu option, it brings up a box for you to enter in a name for the card, and it creates it formatted already for you. I've thought that a frontend for pSX, perhaps with things like memory card creation, configuration (like automatically loading a specific mem card with a specific game) and gameshark/cheat support would be maybe better than having that all in the emu itself. Of course, somebody would actually have to create such a thing.

maybe there should be a rerecording feature and frame advanced would be cool too. A linux verson would sure make many people happy too. If that isn't possible why not make the emu opensource?

Theres only three things i can think of that would make this emulator better, high compatibility (Harry potter games for instance will not work with ANY emulator), to be able to use the Dual shock joypad properly and more compatibility with different disk image types as some work and others don't (i cant get any games that have a .ccd or .mdf extension to work unless i use daemon tools to mount them), apart from that this emulator imitates the PS1 almost perfectly. Thanks to Psxauthor for all his hard work on this excellent program.

hmmm, If I could just pick one thing for this emu it would be video options, filters specially 2xSal and Hq2x for 2D games (it really comes in handy) and maybe (I don't know if it's possible) bigger edge resolution, meaning more detail on the edges instead of that "already filtered" feel, and of course the "changing place pixels" that change place every once in a while in 3D I don't even know if that can be fixed, but it would be nice...
Also a Blur filter would do miracles for games, just look at Chrono Cross when it enters the battle scenes, it really hides the jaggies on-screen. I believe some games in PS2 use blur in each frame edges as the console is crap in aliasing and well... it works miracles... I would be a good option for this emu, I think.
It could also use some work in the Graphics User Interface just to get even better looking.
but this is nitpicking, it's a great emulator already.

I think that some little improvements may be nice and easy so it wont stole time for developing compatibility. Examples:
- hide option for debugger console would be nice (really apreciated) and SO EASY TO CODE, so why not??
- Remeber window size
thanx for reading.
