Why different version of pSX is emulating same game differently?

This seems to be a General topic than a Feedback/Support topic.
It's probably due to the different fixes/added features/optimizations between version to version. Lets say Game 1 does not work, and Game 2 does. Change something to help Game 1 work, and Game 2 ends up broken.
Well then, why do you ask? Do you have a game that's not working? If you do, please check if it's already known in the forums. If you have more information about that game, post it into the topic that already exists. Or if the game has yet to be reported, then report about it properly.
