Well, if you want to keep pSX Author from developing the emulator instead, alpha, that's a start!

One way to find some WIP info would be to search for posts by him here and in the ngemu forums.
I can pretty much guarantee that you'll find something. pSX Author likes to put little spoilers in his posts :-)

I have to admit, I also like to read WIP information from various developers, though I only do it from the people who post that stuff in one place (their blogs or whatever). Like say, byuu and pcsx2 staff for example. I don't really like to hunt the information down from various forums. But that's just me.

Hehehehe. But hey, it's all up the man himself in the end. These days, when starting a blog (for example) is a piece of cake for anyone even without any kind of hosting (wordpress and blogger come to mind for free bloghosting, for example), it's all about time and willingness. If Author has chosen not to write wip news, he probably has a good reason and that's that.

I agree, Mika - certainly, if pSX Author felt that a WIP thread would be productive, there would be one.

pSX Author won't be posting a wip once a week. Can't request something that won't happen.
Maybe a few times a year and that is it.

He keep things private here. We don't know what he is doing. He might be on a brake or who knows what he is doing.
He might have a family to take care of more than worry about pSX most of time. (Maybe why he don't post here much anyway.)
Yea I want to see the pSX emulator progress too. But that might not happen at all. He isn't like Byuu (bsnes programmer.) or Mame team.

You can find pSX Author on PCSX2's irc channel all of the time. He basically lives there. He a real funny dude too. I think he has been doing more work on the PS2 portion of pSX lately. Don't quote me on that though. Side note: Maybe pSX should have its own irc channel.

I'd hang in there. Probably. Most likely. Almost with absolute certainty. I'm pretty much idling in IRC all the time when my computer is on anyway, so one more channel wouldn't hurt at all. ;D
What network would be good?

Too late, quoted ;p I talked to him on #ZSNES a week or two ago, he's currently working on the PS2 portion of pSX Emulator, though I wish he would improve on the PSX portion a bit more, but hey, his project, y'know?

Well, if anyone can pull that off, I guess it's pSX Author. I suspect it'll need to be pretty high end, though...
