Showing vram will always show a "crappy" version of the gfx unless they are 16bit textures (fairly rare on psx because they are so large!).
It literally just shows the contents of vram as 16bit so thats normal.

Yes, i know...I mean this menu appears on showing vram, but not on "real" screen which is freezing before, on "loading" screen...

Unfortunately, Parasite Eve 2 doesn't start (the english version), it hangs in the introduction video.

btw. connectix video game station had the same problem with parasite eve 2 (though using vgs it hangs after and not during the video). unfortunately the only emu to play parasite eve 2 is epsxe (using pete's software plugin)

Blaster Master does not work. After the black screen with the PS logo CD keeps flashing in the corner with sound bleeps. Doesn't get farther than that. Blood Omen Legacy of Kain starts up and looks great. Unfortunately, at the first dialogue (with the bartender) Kain's speech keeps looping and there is no way to break it, making the game unplayable. Chrono Cross works great, there is some slowdown in the menu (I can hear it in the music) but other than that it's fantastic. Final Fantasy 7 has sound issues as others have said. Tinny, weird noises.... stuff like that. Oddworld Abe's Oddysee has some crazy graphical problems. Images and textures just aren't there, flicker a bit, or don't go away. Twisted Metal 2 has some graphical problems as well. It seems like polygons or tiles are missing around your vehicle. Valkyrie Profile has some scratchy sounds at times, always when there is speech though. It also stops when it should go to the map (when Freya want to teach you).
Those are the one's I could find for now. I'll let you know what else I find. Thanks for the great emulator!

Good things do not last forever; R-Type Delta doesn't render correctly in the middle of level five.
I've also managed to get all of the games I mentioned running... they just wouldn't load the first time around. That, or I never waited long enough.

about tekken 3: it's strange that the text in the upper left corner shows "insert coin. credits 0" instead of "2P press start" as usually, maybe the emulator starts a kind of arcade-mame version of the game i really hope the crash of the emu during the fight (game) can be fixed, anyway, thx for ur great work

Suikoden II (US) runs with the -r switch, but it runs extremely choppy and the button press timing is off (you have to be ninja-fast or else it'll skip text). Robbit Mon Dieu (Jp) gets to a level loading screen with the -r switch, but then dies out. Wipeout 3 (US) crashes on the inital loading screen with a setloc out of range: 00:00:16 (with and without -r). Burning Road (US) runs but doesn't play the correct audio tracks. No music is played during the menu screen and the wrong music is played during the races track. Haven't tested the championship mode yet, just the single races. Reripped the game to double check and make sure I didn't bork anything up the first time and problem replicated. (again, tried with and without -r) Jet Moto 2 (US) seems to work great thus far. Played through the three tracks initally unlocked and didn't have a problem at all. Well, other than being smacked in the face with about half ton of raw nostalgia. God d**n do I miss the Jet Moto series. I booted up Raiden Project (US) real quick to test it out and both Raiden and Raiden II seem to work ok, but I'm going to have to put more time into it just to make sure. The news about R Type Delta made me sad Regarding Devil Dice (US), it seems to work ok but at times your character will be stuck moving in one direction until he gets to a wall and then he'll keep trying to move in that direction for a few seconds. Played the endless score attack mode for a little bit and it happened to me three times. Here's the console:

Yeah, sorry about the R-Type Delta problem. I was getting right into it, then the obstacles were impossible to see. With a keen eye and using half-visible shots you might be able to make it further and see it rendered again. It happened near the beginning of that level as well, but it was just a second or so.
I'm going to try Twisted Metal 2 today as well, to see what kind of problems there are, along with a couple more.

Bomberman Party Edition - Works so far, up to the first level. Haven't gotten past it yet. Twisted Metal 2 - Checked what was said about it earlier, but I can play it fine so far.
