We've had no reports yet for Monster Rancher 2.
As for the game's feature, we might not know for sure whether it would work until somebody tests it.

Which version were you using to test, roushimsx?
This is another US-only release, so I can get the game ID easily enough.
From the screenshots, loading in Tomba! appears to work just fine. The only thing I could ask you to test, roushimsx, would be if a copyright protected game (such as Tomba! 2) would still work. I don't know jack about this game to know if there's only certain titles it would recognize to begin with (like, if it has a database of all known PSX games to the point this game was released), but it's worth checking out.

Which version were you using to test, roushimsx? Latest version (I'm always using the latest version unless there's issues, and then I roll back through a few earlier versions to see if the problem existed then, too... unless someone else already did the dirty work and put it in the compatibility list). It works with any cd because it generates the monster based off of the TOC of the disc. There's actually websites out there with data that you can copy into the TOC to trick the game into thinking you're using a different disc (and it saves a shit load of time from having to try to find a specific pressing of a disc to get a unique monster). I did double check to make sure that the copy protection on Tomba 2 wouldn't prevent it from working, though. Works dandy

Latest version (I'm always using the latest version unless there's issues Ahh, well, I usually test with several version, just for the sake of semi-completeness. That, and you never know if somebody is jumping on the latest version or not. Works dandy Great, thanks for the info.
