What? Not stabbing ProBoards? You missed an opportunity there, Ultima!

Nah, it's not big a deal enough to warrant a stab from me ;D
I've more-or-less implemented the searching already -- it only searches the Game Compatibility forum (no more, no less). Tweaking random things here and there, wondering if there's anything else I should change.
Edit: Done...

Ultima is missing my point on Strider and Strider 2. I'm wasn't taking about the book cover. I'm taking about the cds print are on the wrong cds. Check your cds and files id. You will see what I'm talking about.
Here is a hint. Strider on Strider 2 cd and Strider 2 on Strider cd. This why I said no books and outside cds id. We don't want wrong ids.

No, I'm not missing the point. I understood you perfectly fine after Mika's explanation. I did say that even if a single game made that mistake, it's not something to be all that worried about. In the end, you can verify it with some other sources if you so wish, but it's not as if every/most/lots of games have the wrong IDs on their disc labels -- none of my games are incorrect. (And I don't own Strider 2 -- that was a case cover I found online )

Well... if a person is submitting a game report on a game not on the list, I'd say it probably *would* be a good idea to check the ID within the files of the game itself. In my opinion... it's so easy to do that it'd almost be stupid not to. All it takes is opening My Computer and double-clicking the drive being used. It can't hurt to spend about 5 seconds to make this quick check. And if the game *is* on the list... then the person can compare his ID to the one on the list, and if it's different... make note of it in the report, just in case.

Too bad that no matter how great the report generator is (it's a great idea!), people will still be stupid. If only there was a way to somehow encourage searching and reading the important links. But it's definitely a good idea to have the report generator as the first option. horj.

Might I suggest a similar report for help and support and maybe even bugs? System specs are one thing atleast that people always seem to forget.

I considered that, but it sounds a bit iffy, as it's not very often that system configuration is needed to figure a problem out. In the end, it seems like it's asking too much of the user to put system specs every time :\

It remind me having a drag out over here about Koudelka dumps. cHrI8l3 said the ones listed on database have EDC. But then he is saying mine doesn't have EDC. Something isn't right there. forum.psxdb.com/viewtopic.php?id=402Oh another thing is I will not send the same infos if my dumps matches theirs. I have most of my dumps matches theirs anyway.

Ugh, there's something up with the compatibility report generator script truncating the last character of a line if the last character is not a letter/number, it seems... Not sure why either, as I'm simply concatenating values, nothing more
