I tried Chrono cross disc2 today, and the emulation was waayy to fast, like 1,5-3x faster than it should be
is there any option to limit the fps to 60?
My system specs are:
Athlon XP 3000+ 512 MB ram Radeon 9600se vidcard Winxppro

Hello,
Thats strange...
Does running it fullscreen help? (alt+enter)
If not - have you forced the fullscreen refresh rate in DirectX settings in control panel? (Control Panel/DirectX/DirectDraw and make sure "Forced Refresh Rate" is set to "Default").
If none of these things help please email me at psxemulator@googlemail.com and I'll try to figure it out. The emulator uses QueryPerformanceCounter for timing and its possible it doesn't work on your system for some reason.
The only time it should run faster than normal is when you are holding down the backspace key (fast forward).
Thanks,

Ok i already had the settings that way in directX
windowed mode is fine, it only effects fullscreen mode, also when i return to windowed modem from fullscreen psxemu hangs in an endless loop and i have to force quit the app.
i tried forcing Vsync in my display settings and that seems to help the fullscreen settings.
disc one works fine in window and fullscreen mode regardless of vsync

Hmm - interesting.
The emulator should enable vsync normally. At a guess this is something to do with your video settings.
Anyway - glad you managed to get it working.
Are you saying that CD2 still runs too fast? If so that sounds dodgy...

Cd 1 always works Cd 2 only works with vsync forced on
if it was my settings both discs would act strange right?

Same thing happened when I forced vsync off, but when I set it to application controlled or forced it on, everything worked fine, so vsync is enabled normally by the emulator.
