It's a standard ps2 controller (scph-10010) it works fine for all other programs and calibrates fine in windows but using the built in key assign function, it runs through all the buttons as if it's stuck on one (and assigns all functions to one value). Is there some way to fix this?
My machine is a p4 2.53 ghz w/1 gig ram under Win XP w/svc pack 2. Using a radio shack usb controler adapter.

Didn't help but I got it to work anyway--had to tap many times on the controler button and click in the assign box at the same time (heh took foorever;). Would help a lot if the program did not automatically advance to the next button, just a thought. Thanks for what looks like a great program.

I'll try to repro this somehow - I'm not sure why that is happening - maybe I broke the config menu last time I messed with it...
Anyone else having problems configuring pads?

I can't even get to the configuring the pad screen. The emu closes soon after running it with a 'send error report' message. Doesn't happen if I unplug the pad then start the emu. The pad is a EMS USB 2 Joypad Converter, which is here www.hkems.com/product/ps2/ps2-usb2.htm if that's any help.
