Hi,
At the moment there is no UI - it is a command line utility, sorry!
To use it, go to a command prompt, then (this example assumes you have the emulator in c:\emu\psx, change the path to wherever you have it installed) :
c:\emu\psx\utils\cdztool c:\games\mygame.bin c:\games\mygame.cdz
You don't need to create cdz files to use the emulator though - they just save some space...

***SIGH*** Goes to show you whats lost on todays youth... if it involves DOS or a command prompt, they are lost... DOS should be a requirement before they can even log into windows!!

hehe - its my fault really though - I should not be so lazy and implement a GUI! (or put it in the main .exe on a menu item).

I've started creating a vbs script to add a gui that supports multi selection of files. I can't test it because the lab I work at has permisions set. I do know its pretty close to running and anybody with basic knowledge ought to get it going. It has a problem when selecting only one file it doesn't execute, which should be easily fixed, and strCommandLine = "cdztool.exe" & strFile & newext might need to be replaced with strCommandLine = "cdztool.exe" & chr(34) & strFile & chr(34) & chr(34) & newext & chr(34), Oh yeah, it only runs on WinXp(not win2003/2000/se/ect). I was going to write an executable, but I didn't have access to a compiler/masm. Oh well, it was just something to pass the time since it was a very long night and it will give some bored person something to do, besides it will be useless in a couple revisions of the emulator/utility anyway. Set objDialog = CreateObject("UserAccounts.CommonDialog") objDialog.Filter = "Bin CD Images|*.bin|All Files|*.*" objDialog.Flags = &H0200 objDialog.FilterIndex = 1 objDialog.InitialDir = ":\" intResult = objDialog.ShowOpen If intResult = 0 Then Wscript.Quit Else arrFiles = Split(objDialog.FileName, " ") For i = 1 to Ubound(arrFiles) strFile = arrFiles(0) & arrFiles(i) Set objShell = CreateObject("Wscript.Shell") newext=you'll have to concentate it with strFile strCommandLine = "cdztool.exe" & strFile & newext objShell.Run(strCommandLine) strMessage = "Press the ENTER key when the image is done being compressed." Wscript.StdOut.Write strMessage Do While Not WScript.StdIn.AtEndOfLine Input = WScript.StdIn.Read(1) Loop Next End If
