A couple of things I wanted to mention that I haven't seen around, or at least want to get into a single topic:
- Loading a working game then trying to switch doesn't seem to work. - Loading a save state of a game different than the one loaded sometimes works, or crashes the emulator. (Example: Playing R-Type Delta then loading a Parasite Eve save state lets me run around in an area in Parasite Eve before crashing when I try to go off-screen, and the bottom of the R-Type Delta game stays.) - If you type in the name of a save state you want to open inncorrectly, the emulator crashes.
I just wanted to bring this stuff up, although you people have probably noticed these errors. I'd like to hear more information on what's being done to fix these things, and when there might be a v1.1, although it'll probably be a long time since this is the best 1.0 i've ever seen.

Hello,
Yeah - I know about the crash when loading state saves sometimes. It will usually work if you reload the emulator though. I'll try to make this bullet proof in the next version.
btw: something people may not have noticed - you can launch the emulator straight into a state save by doing:
psxfin c:\mygames\game.bin c:\emu\psx\saves\mysave.psv
... can sometimes be useful ...
I've already seen a crash dump of the "loading a non existant state save" crash - I guessed it was probably that but thanks for the confirmation!
As for when I'll release a v1.1 - hopefully soon... the first thing I'll be doing is sorting out some of these silly issues.

Another thing I forgot to mention was that saving/loading save states in full-screen mode doesn't really work. Will this also be fixed soon? I'd also like to see some Game Shark support after the main compatibility issues are smoothed out. Also, a message indicating that the CD is trying to open, like today when I couldn't open Syphon Filter 3 right away and it ended up booting after all.

Ah sorry about that - its supposed to switch back to windowed mode when you do that.
A workaround for the moment is to press alt which will enter the menu - then it WILL switch back to windowed.. now just select load or save state from the menu.
I'll fix it in the next version so that pressing F1/Shift+F1 will do the same thing. I will also try to add quicksave hotkeys like some people have suggested.

I didn't know that the emulator have a Save State system... but I won't use it anyway, it's much better to play like in a real PSX.

Save State system can be fun but I agreed with you that it is much better to play like in a real psx, heh.
