I created a savestate and every time I tried to load it, it crashed. However, I discovered that if I moved the save and the image to 'c:\', it opens just fine. I originally had the emulator folder on my desktop, so I'm guessing either it was having problems reading past spaces "documents and settings, etc" or the directory path was simply to long. Whatever the actuall problem though, this sems to work as a temporary solution, if anyone else is having the same issue.

It probably cannot be because of what the destination is.
Example: C:\Documents and Settings\********\Desktop\Downloads\Woot\v1.0 is my emulation folder. It has spaces and it's long, and the card works.

Why do you have it in Documents and settings ? I only put them in C:\pSX v1.0 because documents and settings is annoying so I tell it to go to C:\ as always.

I have it in Documents and Settings because that's where stuff on my desktop goes. Always been. It where I keep everything noteworthy, like this emulator, downloaded stuff and utilities.

my memory card worked as well, for some reason the savestate didn't though. Ah well, even if that's not the actual problem, changing the directory did help.

Maybe it's just luck. If this problem only happens sometimes, it'll be hard to pinpoint what happened.
