Your topic title confused me =o As for what I'd like to see... I'd say just general improvments in emulation, and bugfixes I guess -- nothing specific, as I'm mostly satisfied with pSX otherwise.

I want to say.
1) remove pointless .cue need
2) options to set user defined keys on savestate actions
3) since there is a "fast forward" implemented - it would also be good to insert such a thing as turbo keys. Sometimes you really cant bother to read all that bloated dialogue in RPGS and such, which take 10 or 15 minutes sometimes, and you have to click and click and click. I'd rather do something else while turbo key will skip all that in my place.
4) make "pause when not focused" option accessible from pull-down menu.
5) oh, and a unique savestates naming, but author already said he'll do that.
Umm...thats it, cosmetic changes really.

Suggestion: Allow capturing the CD drive even when there is no disc in the drive, and fully support ejecting and inserting discs while the emulator is running.

Suggestion: Allow capturing the CD drive even when there is no disc in the drive, and fully support ejecting and inserting discs while the emulator is running. What for ? If its about multi-disc games - you can eject and insert discs while the emu is running no problem. I just finished Valkyrie Profile on 1.4, for example.

Id just like to see some graphics rendering or something, a way to tweak the graphic settings to take advantage of my graphics card and CPU. ;D And BTW, this thread needs to be renamed, I thought 1.5 had already been released when I saw it, then I got in here and I'm like "damn".

IINM, that can't happen, as it would require a total rewrite of pSX, and it would likely break accuracy, as conversion to Direct3D or OpenGL is just that -- a conversion, which is rarely accurate given there are things in PlayStation not native to Direct3D and OpenGL.

I want to say. 1) remove pointless .cue need This seems to be a common misunderstanding on this board. The .cue files are the 'table of contents' of their respective .bin files. For games that play back regular CD audio, you need a cue file describing the positions of the audio tracks on the cd.

"For games that play back regular CD audio" I'll ask again then, just how many games with CD audio do you know ?

Borisz, i really am at a loss. The only thing i dont get - with this kind of PSX obsession, why do you even need emulator ? I'm sure your closet is loaded with the real things.
