Hello! Fine job so far with the emulator. I tried it out on a friend's PC and when he saw how smoothly Chrono Cross was running he vowed he'd never play PSX games on a real PSX again. I tested it a bit on my own ancient 700 MHz Pentium III in WinXP, only to find that it crashes on startup (right after reaching "Pad=0") when I have my PSX controller adaptor plugged into the USB port. It's a model from EMS in Hong Kong ( www.hkems.com/product/ps2/ps2-usb2.htm) that shows up as two "4 axis 16 button joysticks". I haven't had any trouble with it until now. I only have one controller, so I haven't been able to find out yet if the problem is that the second one isn't connected. When I finally figured out to unplug the controller, Gensou Suikoden II (J) ran pretty well, if a little choppy (I know my system's old). Gensou Suikogaiden Vol. 1 (J) didn't make it to the title screen, unfortunately.

The emu starts up fine without the pad, but crashes immediately if I try and start the emu with it. I've already mentioned this problem twice on this forum without reply. Perhaps now that two of us have had the same problem, with the same controller, it might get noticed.

Well, I'm glad it's not just me, at least.
Couldn't get UmJammer Lammy through the intro either, but maybe my system's just not handling the MDECs right. Oh well.

When it crashes does it manage to save an .mdmp? If so can someone with this problem send me one?
Thanks!

Sorry It crashes out right away with a standard "psxfin.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" Windows error. Maybe ploggy can get a crash dump... Thanks, though.

It doesn't give me the option of saving the dump. Just crashes with a 'send error report' message. When it crashes does it manage to save an .mdmp? If so can someone with this problem send me one? Thanks! I can send you the information that's included in the error report if that'll be any help mate? EDIT: I've sent the error report in a .zip file to your google e-mail in your profile mate. Hope it helps.
