Hooboy, this one's going to bring down the wrath of the mods.
Okay, first off.. pSX doesn't do plugins at all. That's to keep it simple and easy to configure and use. Secondly, no graphics enhancements are available, as enhancements tend to cause graphical glitching or incompatibility. The aim of the pSX project is to get it as close to the PSX hardware as possible.

pSX does not use plug-ins and I don't think it ever will. You can try turning on Bilinear Filtering to soften the edges, and enable Vsync to synchronize the video to your monitor's refresh rate. If the game isn't running smooth for you it's possible that the CPU in your PC isn't fast enough. In my experience a 2GHz Pentium 4 (or equivalent) is close to minimum for full framerate in the most demanding PlayStation games. If you're playing from physical media that's in bad shape, slowdowns could be caused by read errors. Try using a CD image instead. It's also possible that the game you're playing wasn't smooth on a real PlayStation either. As you chose not to say anything about your PC or what game it is you're playing I can only guess. Furthermore, it's also evident that you didn't bother to read the FAQ before posting... bad, bad newbie. S

FAQKnown Requests: Both are clearly linked at the top of every page in the forum. As far as keeping game play smooth is concerned, what you basically need is a very moderately specced machine and not to enable frame skipping. Any further advice, obviously, will require you to post more details of your system, as the answers will depend on your OS, CPU, graphics card, memory, sound card, drivers etc. Please read the forum documentation before posting again, v2lethal, and think before you post. thread locked and archived - patrickp
