I'm trying to use psx emulator on my new vista preloaded pc and when I went to extract the d3d 26.dll it kept saying not enough storage space available and I have a 500 gig harddrive and if you guys need to know my computer has 3 gigebyets of ram and a AMD dual core 6000+ processor just in case you needed that info any help would be great, love this emulator and want to try on my new pc thanks.

Indeed, even on Vista, I would think general games performance would be considerably more improved with a complete update/install of DirectX 9.0c, rather than just by adding the D3D .dll - which will only enable you to run pSX and won't give any improvement at all.
As for why you can't unpack the .dll - I guess this is probably a Vista problem.
