Hi everyone, new guy here . I just recently downloaded and installed this pSX emulator and got all the necessary BIOS, .dlls and all that. I've run into a problem with the game Xenogears. The sound is all messed up! Now before you go pointing me towards another thread, I have honestly looked at all of them, looked at the FAQ, looked around the internet, and the best I've gotten is "use the -S command line". So my question is: what is this command line? How do I enter it into the game? I've looked around the configurations for this emulator and I can't figure out where I'm supposed to enter this "-S" that will supposedly fix my sound. Please help! Kevin

"command line" is a way to browse/launch executables from a windows command line interface (like the good ol' DOS) instead of using the windows graphical interface (using your mouse/icons).
from windows XP, command line interface is launched by typing "cmd" from Start-Execute.
you should obtain a windows with just a cursor blinking and waiting for you to enter any text command (so, that's the command line interface). from here, you should first get to the directory you'v pSX : so if you put pSX in d:\pSX, type d: cd pSX
then type the following command :
psxfin -S
and it'll launch pSX with the -S option activated, use it as usual.
you can also type psxfin -h , and you'll have a list of different commands available.
if you never used command line before, it can be difficult to use.. so you can have an alternative way : first, create a shortuct of the pSX executable (right-clic, move and release, choose create shorcut here) then, edit the properties of this new shortcut (right-clic, properties) and look for a "target" box. in this "target" box you should see something similar to this : "E:\pSX_1_1\v1.1\psxfin.exe" (since mine is in E: drive) and modify it to obtain : "E:\pSX_1_1\v1.1\psxfin.exe -S" close the properties windows, and now double-clic this new icon : you'v launched pSX with the -S option.
this way you can have the original pSX with default options (original icon) and a second shortcut wich will launch pSX with the -S option...at your taste.
