Well, psx doesn't need much, so I think at least 2d games could run at full speed. This thing (I actually never heard of it until now) has two processors, so if psx would use them well, it could work... Furthermore 64mb-ram may be enough as well. (e.g. Persona2 needs around 24mb-ram for running around with the mainchar^^. Well at least with win xp prof ) p.s.: Try it out, there is also frame-skipping available (if the game stutters too much), so if it works at all, it may very well be working quite fast.

So technically, pSX would need to support dual-core to use both processors (since, as I recall, dual-core processors are regarded as two processors, so using them would basically amount to getting a program to use two processors).
Through different thought processes and calculations, I have to pretty much agree with kiru. pSX should be able to run at halfway decent speed when playing 2D games. It might need a little optimization to run better though.
And even if it doesn't work... at least a decent GBA emulator is available for it, amongst some other emulators (well, mostly old stuff like NES, but still).

Well, I would try it out myself on but it needs to be ported to the GP2X first because it has its own type of executable.

Hahaha, Yuna looks like the character from Fable when you choose the evil side. Hey, nice to see some progress there. Way to go Mr. Author.

OMG. Nice work pSX. Is your aim to get it to work well on decent/low-end computers or are there going to be high requirements to run PS2 emulation in the future? Just curious. Probably not possible to get PS2 emulation without a high end computer though.

Probably not possible to get PS2 emulation without a high end computer though. Unfortunately it will need a fairly high end CPU and GFX card - there is no real way around that...

A couple of sneak preview pictures of stuff I've been working on recently [...] Wow! Those look AMAZING! Can't wait to try it, pSX Author. Keep up the good work. By the way, I hope you can give us some great news about the upcoming pSX recording features too.
