Hiya, and first off let me thank you pSX-Author for making a fantastic emulator. One problem though aside from others which I know you're aware of, is that pSX never saves my preferences. There is a psx.ini file in my directory so I know there is a config file there for the emulator to run off. However even after hitting 'apply' and then 'ok' in all of the options tabs and then quitting the emulator normally, the config file isn't updated at all and I have to re-config the emu every time I wish to use it Is this something you're aware of or is there something I can do to fix this little niggle?

hi, seems like your file is read-only, go to MyComputer and browse to your PSX.INI file. select, right click and select PROPERTIES, at the bottom UNCHECK Read-Only (Attributes). Hope it helps you out. Oh yeah almost forgot, THANKS YOU pSX-Author for this wonderful PSX emulator

Urgh, its always the simplest things lol. I've had similar problems with other programmes and all of the time I ALWAYS forget to look for those little things. Hehe, whoops! Thank you Elseno for putting me in the right direction and for reminding of my own lack of common sense
