I'm guessing... they weren't useful at all...? :/ Sorry, I haven't had a look at them yet. Been occupied with other things. Thank you very much for locating them. I appreciate it. Re: The emulator development, I'm taking a little break from the coding in order to plan it better. I usually love to dive directly into creating the individual components such as the CPU, but in order to be able to test things, I need to figure out the minimal required framework to get something running first; and from that foundation, build the missing pieces and improve accuracy and speed.

Ahh... your silence worried me for a moment. I was afraid maybe I had given you links to stuff that was so far off-base that you just decided to silently shake your head at me... XD. While I understand that I have no strong edge over anybody else when it comes to searching for things, I like to think that I can occasionally dig up something remotely interesting/useful. I'm just crossing my fingers that this was one of those times... ^^
Anyway, yeah... It sounds like it *would* be a good idea to just get the basics running and improve upon them to where you want them. Building the components in-depth, one by one, is something I really love doing, but I find that the downside to doing that is that making everything work together is a *little* harder in the shortrun. It also makes it harder to keep working on at times, because there isn't enough physical gratification from the work being done (since components can't do much of anything on their own usually) to keep strong the desire to finish it as soon as wanted. Unfortunately, it's sometimes a bit difficult for me to do it that "right" way, since once I have something in my head about how I want something to work, I tend to give into the strong urge to continually add upon and perfect the code until that particular component is how I want it. (... Then of course I have to go back later and make changes to it after creating the next component and realizing there's a better way to interface between everything, in addition to deciding on more revisions to prior code after sudden inspiration hits me)
Well, half of that is saying what you already know (since the reasoning is similar after all), and I guess I get carried away sometimes when I get stuck on a topic that I have passion for... ;D
What I'm *trying* to say is I understand very much what your reasoning is for the change in direction, and I really hope it works out for you. Getting that framework done will be a great step and quite an accomplishment itself.
If you find any other resources online that are helpful, could you come back here and let me/us know? I'd be rather interested to see what else might be floating out there.

I find it to be quite illegal. Sharing of the official PlayStation SDK is forbidden by countries observing and abiding by copyright law, and is forbidden by the ProBoards TOS. As well, the site you linked to facilitates the pirating of games anyhow.
Read the forum rules, and read them carefully. You've been warned.
