Have to admit I still use psx 1.12.
Time sure flies... but still, a year isn't that long anyway. (some excuse for not having psx 1.13 "must" be made right? ^^)

And lets not forget that even epsxe had an update after 5 years. So lets not throw in the towel just yet, I'm confident that new versions os pSX will eventually surface.

Yeah I agree with Mika. A long time without updates doesn't necessarly mean that the project is shutted down. Whilst there's life, there's hope.

I must admit, by now I think it's becoming a fairly legitimate concern to wonder if, not when, we might see another version of pSX. After all, according to the board pSX Author himself hasn't logged in for over 2 months. And the last version, v1.13, came out just over a year ago. Going on a full year this month btw, and with that said I wonder what he has up his sleeve. I've been thinking about when it will be released. This is only my reasoning of course, but it seems highly plausible it will be released sometime near christmas or early next year. patrickp... save the warning, I know how that word upsets you! Just kidding or am I? *insert the si-fi "niner niner" music*

maybe (hopefully!) he's waiting until the mac version is ready before we'll see an update. that would be a nice christmas present.

1.13 really defined how well the PSOne can be emulated. The only real issues left to solve are small issues like minor speed and stability issues and some compatibility issues with copy-protected games. Other than that... this has been a grade AAA emulator.
The only thing really left then is getting PS2 emulation a reality within pSX and on par with it's PSOne emulation.
I say go for it.

He's a working part of a developer with an upcoming Xbox 360 game, so must of his programming time is going to this job.

There might be more of a learning curve with WineBottler though.
