I know how annoying it is when someone asks a question that has been answered a million times and this seems like it should be one of those questions, but I couldn't find anything on it.
My problem is when a game tries to access the memory card in slot 1 (both read and write seems to be the same) the emu completely stops listening to my controller. At first I thought it was crashing but then I noticed it was still animating stuff and I could still get to pSX's menus etc.
Is this a known issue? I can use slot 2 OK but a lot of games only support slot 1 and I don't really want to rely on savestates.
I'm on Windows XP SP3 with a Xbox 360 gaming adapter and wireless pad. It's a HTPC so I use one of those wireless keyboard and mouse things if that makes any difference.

If that game doesn't use Analog, just use XPadder and assign keyboard keys to all your buttons on the XBox360 pad. Then configure your keys inside of pSX with the Keyboard keys, and not the XBox360 pad keys. This way you can also use the shoulder triggers properly, as XPadder uses XInput to grab the input

Hi, "Final Fantasy Tactics" and "Parappa the Rapper" have this problem too. Im not sure if i understand zerosan explanation.
Im using a twin psx controller, when i'm configuring it i've noticed that each key has a keyboard equivalent. I've tried to using these to select a save option but they don't respond (well, only the pad and arrows respond, but not the buttons) what can i do to fix these?

It's a known bug, several games presents this bug... [/size] ..., so the only alternative would be using slot 2 when possible.
