Hello there! In the first place, I would like to express how amazing pSX seems to me: it's the most accurate psx emulator I've tried....and I've tried all of them since the psemu and bleem days when psx emulation seemed impossible! The biggest problem I've noticed is input lag in every game: comparing to the same game on the psx hardware, navigating through menus in RPGs or moving the ship on shooters seems to be "late". Are you aware of this problem?? It's noticeable in shooters, where it causes heavy control. You may think I am using a laggy USB stick, but that's not the case: I've played a lot with emulator on windows, mac and linux, and this pad is lag-free for Nestopia, MAME and WinUAE, to name a few. Ootake (PC Engine emulator) is also lag-free, and it's author has put a lot of effort ito this issue. Many emulators seems to have it, being pSX among them. Please read more here: www.ouma.jp/ootake/delay.htmlIt seems trivial to fix it! I would do it myself if pSX sourcecode was available, but I understand the legal constrains for this GREAT emulator. My only intention is helping with making pSX an even better emulator: I've got original psx hardware, but emulation is a whole new adventure! Thanks!
