Hi, I've been trying several ps emulators and cant seem to get any of them to work.
This one seems the easiest to use but when i try to start it it gives me an error: "Failure to find a valid mode(perhaps you need to switch your desktop to 32bit mode?)" It's in 32bit mode. then another pop up error:"failure to initialize D3D device"
Can I get some assistance? Is there anything i need to download in addition to the Bios?
Im using win XPsp2 btw
thanks!

You need to update your DirectX, either use the web-installer or a recent bi-monthly update. You may already have 9.0c installed, but these monthly updates are not versioned. Using the web-installer is the easiest and fastest to install since it automatically downloads what's needed and not a whole package of what you already have.
You may also need to update your GPU drivers and maybe your monitor driver (may not be needed).

Click Start, Click Run and enter "dxdiag". This will start the DirectX Diagnostics Tool, after getting to the Main Window on the System Tab, press the "Save All Information.." button. This will generate a text document Report of the DirectX installation you can save somewhere. You can either post the contents of that file or upload it to a temporary file host so we can see if there is a problem with your installation of DirectX.
