Anyone ever got this message:
get fences failed: -1 param: 6, val: 0 [src/linux/sound.cpp, line 211]: 'snd_pcm_hw_params_set_access(pcm_handle,hwparams,SND_PCM_ACCESS_MMAP_INTERLEAVED)' returned 'Invalid argument' pad=0 Segmentation fault
It crops up after the language selection and then dies.
Just wondered if it was known and how you can fix.
I'm running on Ubuntu Studio 9.04
Thanks.

This is PA problem but you can make pSX to work with PA.
First off find and open psx.ini. Secondly find sound section, disable everything by putting 0 for device, latency, xaLatency, interpolation and for everything but frequency. Put 8000 or something like that for Frequency. After that launch psx, go to sound settings section, set proper sound device, close the psx. Open psx.ini and put -1 for Frequency, 20 for latency, 32 for xalatency (if you want you can also turn on interpolation and the rest, choice is yours) and save.
Done. You can now launch psx with PA and it will work well.
