Uhm, I was thinking about doing a BoF4 run with pSX (obviously, because it's superior) and the problem is, I can't record it with fraps (perfect audio, no video) so I wondered, what's to be done about this? Care to help?

Could wait for next release. It should have recording capabilities (unless it gets removed/locked for further work in a later release). Otherwise, I'm not sure. I haven't used FRAPS in a while, but I distinctly recall it being able to recall pSX's video just fine. Have you tried messing with the options (in FRAPS) or using the paid version of it?

Well the thing is, when I record with FRAPS (yes paid), it gets perfect audio, but no video.

Well see, this is where you're going to have to give more specific details. Because I just reinstalled FRAPS (have it installed on XP, didn't install on Win7 until just now), and recorded with all default settings, and I got both video and audio from pSX perfectly fine.

What exactly do you want? Drivers should be up to date, using an NVidea GTS 250 1GB vid card...I dunno what's going wrong. Can you fast forward with fraps running?

Any information relating to FRAPS, your system, and your graphics card. The key is trying to figure out why video information isn't making it from the game to the video file.
And no, you can't fast forward while recording. I suppose there may be a way somehow, but I haven't tried figuring that out yet.
Edit: I suppose it's possible that the video file is fine and you're simply not able to play it back. Reinstalling FRAPS may solve the problem, or scan the video file with something like GSpot to see if the codec for playback is installed on your system. If it's not, installing a codec pack (CCCP or ffdshow are good choices) might solve your codec problem.
