I use the debugger alot and one thing that really annoys me is that when I set some breakpoints that go off regularly, say once per frame, there is no way of getting input from the controller to the game engine.
Is there any chance that you can add joypad input to a message queue when in debug mode or something like that so that the game can access the buttons you have pressed?
Also the savestates are not always the same size why is that? Does pSX not dump some memory that contains only zeroes or is the missing memory unused GFX RAM, Is there any way to do a whole RAM dump (CPU/GFX/SPU)?
BTW you guys have created the greatest playstation emulator on the planet. Thanks for all the effort you have already put into pSX

I was under the impression that the savestates were compressed. I could be wrong though.

The savestates are raw and uncompressed which is very helpful to me in fact.
I just found out that there is already an option to dump the VRAM I found it in the GPU menu of the debugger dont know how I missed that before.
