Hello, I would like to bring attention to the fact that the PCSX-df Project has built into it's source code a totally free replacement to the Sony Playstation BIOS that actually works. Perhaps you guys can pull the BIOS from that code? pSX as an emulator works much better anyway!

The PCSX-df license would likely make that impossible, unless their BIOS is released under a different license than the rest of the work.

PCSX-df uses an HLE bios to mimic, synthesize, and simulate the real BIOS function calls.
While pSX and others still use the actual dumped BIOS ROM which is more accurate, I have seen little effort on the part of many developers to attempt low-level emulation of the BIOS to get the function calls and opcodes handled more as a real BIOS emulated rather than substituting or simulating.
