Screenshots used to save just fine, with the correct proportions. Now all of a sudden, they are saving squished in from the sides. It happens on all game now, even games that used to work correctly before. It happens on multiple games but not all. Noticed while playing final fantasy tactics. Thought for some reason it was how i was opening it so i sent some shots to a friend to make sure that it is indeed how they are being saved. Also happens in Final fantasy origins. Don't even know where to begin troubleshooting this, but what I did try was undoing recent changes I made to how i play pSX, which is to say i tried it without disabling the log window. Actually tried it without using the front end at all. No luck so far, has anyone ran into this before? Attachments:

and this is how it looks when it's right: so it's 256x240 when it should be 320x240. edit: also, valkyrie profile screenshots do the opposite, they stretch themselves sideways too much. Everything is the right ratio in the emulator itself, but as a test I also tried resizing the emulator to ridiculous proportions, and the screenshot still comes out the same resolution as before. pSX generates screen shots at the games resolution (internal pixel for pixel), so you will need to correct (stretch) the ratio back to 4:3 (or 16:9 on the very few games that support that).

ahh... so... some games are just, weird and square, but when you play them it stretches it out, so... ok, all right then. weird.

256x240 is the old SNES resolution. All ports from the SNES to the PSX run at that resolution, but I guess other games do as well.

Games use a variety of resolutions on the PS (and many many others) and they are not always square pixeled.
