I was thinking of contributing a little and decided to make some coloured icons for pSX. It doesn't have much use but you can just use em for your shortcut. Link: cracko.250free.com/pSX_Icons.zipEnjoy

I guess if people are running different versions of pSX, or different shortcuts (for different command line options?), they could find this useful.

That's actually really awesome. I'm positive I can make use of some of those. What I've really been looking for is a bunch of good icons for various consoles. Basically, icons for my Super Nintendo, Genesis, etc files different from their emulator. Some of the emulators and misc programs have a few extra icons in them, but I still don't have nearly enough for my purposes. I don't suppose you have any of those sitting around, MotM...?

That would be awesome, TheCloudOfSmoke. These ones are good, but the starvingartist guy didn't make any Master System icons... Pity... But when you said you were intending to make a "complete icon set" someday, it was more like COMPLETE or just... complete (I mean, how many consoles you'd put on the set...)?

@cloudofsmoke: Damn. Thanks a lot for those, as they are very awesome. I don't know why I didn't think to search Devart for icons... it should've been a no-brainer. I look forward to your complete set when you finally complete it.

Incidentally, Irfanview can save in the .ico format, GM - roll your own!

I've been using Irfanview as my primary graphics application for a few years now. I have indeed made a few icons... but not many, and there aren't many pictures to make the kind of icons I wanted out of them. In terms of graphics on the computer, I do pixel art and wallpapers... and pixel art-type icons always look a little weird.

Since you said it that way Melanogaster, a "Complete" set does sound like it would take a long time to create. I guess I would create them as "generation" sets (like PS2, XBOX, GC or Genesis,SNES and so on) as opposed to trying to make a complete set of every console at once. When I do though, I'll make sure that I throw in the Master System icon just for you Melanogaster . I'll probably start when Microsoft creates an official Vista icon tutorial guide like their XP one so the icons will be up to date with the new OS. BTW: Nice icons you got there MotM. I don't want to hijack your thread talking about other's icons.

No big deal, the more different icons, the better My favorite one is dark blue icon.

I'm sure there used to be some Master System icons on the MEKA site somewhere, melanogaster. I know I've got them lurking somewhere in the depths of my hard drive...

I'm always checking the SMS Power! site, but I don't recall seeing something like that. If you could ever find them, let us know, please...
