Well, the option is there so you can run a PS2 BIOS and keep your dreams alive, since you won't be able to play anything there...

Once you have the PS2 BIOS on the folder, go to a command line prompt and type: C:\...\psxfin -2 Replace the '...' above with the correct path to your pSX .exe (psxfin.exe), using the 8:3 format.

The reason that it is there because pSX Author is working on PS2 emulator as well but do not ask him about it. You are better off focus on his pSX emulator and enjoy his an excellent work in it.
