Yep, I already fixed that Here's my current changelog (yep, from yesterday): v1.11 (2007-07-26) + Ability to use extra switches not already in switches list ~ Minor tweaks
Linux Only + Added the -f switch - Removed "Auto" from aspect ratio list (doesn't work in Linux anyway)
Windows Only + Added Alcohol 120% images (MDF/MDS) to file type filter list ~ Fixed "No Correction" selecting 4:3 instead for aspect ratio ~ Fixed BIOS field being unable to accept drag-and-dropped files It's not uploaded yet, though. Edit: ultima.psx.googlepages.com/index.htmlGrab the latest version and test to see if you still have that funky image selection problem (I'm not seeing how it'd be related to the aspect ratio problem in any way, TBH). Edit (2007-07-28): Some additional changes from this request thread... Linux Only ~ Expand '~' properly for executable path ~ Use ~/.pSX/ as the default settings directory

Since the image thing was caused by selecting the Auto option, which you've now removed, it's gone, Ultima. I guess selecting a non-existent option must have caused a whoopsie somewhere... And I removed psxfrontend.ini before starting the new Frontend - I can confirm it's creating a ~/.pSX folder and creating a new psxfrontend.ini there.

The weird part is, I still don't see how the extra entry would cause the problem in the first place; it would only offset the FullscreenAspectRatio value by one, and not even for the auto option (only for the last option -- 16:10). Bah, as long as it's fine... Just to be sure, can you check if 4:3 causes any problems too? Thanks I would test myself, but it's unbearably slow/unstable running pSX under VMware.

I usually have it set to 4:3 anyway - no problems.

Mmm... And how about "No correction" and "16:10"? (I'm checking the extremes now)

They all work fine, even if they do look weird...

lol another question... pSX is showing the correct option selected each time you switch it in the frontend too, right?

Yes. I checked pSX' configuration after starting with each option, and they're set correctly on the Graphics tab.

AFAIK it's not actually official yet, dfreer - at least, Ultima isn't showing v1.11 in his pSX Frontend in News & Announcements yet (click the 'pSX Frontend' link in Ultima's sig or the 'Ultima's pSX Frontend' link in mine).

I've been holding of linking the new file as well until it's official. Though his googlepage says 1.11 for both systems as the newest one, so. It's a mystery. But my site is down anyway, so it doesn't matter to me right now anyway.

Yep, I was waiting for a bit more feedback, but since there hasn't been any, I'm gonna make the announcement after I run through the other new posts

Well, he's been and gone and done it now - it's legit! I also notice you've removed all the old versions from the News & Announcements thread. Never mind, Mika, I've probably got them all if you want them...
