Well, when it's because I think I'll go for FileFactory...

Well, now we have this program *everyplace* (including twice at FileFactory...) It really sucks that even though HostFile came back up, everytime I tried uploading the frontend to it, it kept saying something about there not being an empty temporary file to upload it or something like that. I guess we'll just keep "mirroring" the frontend until HostFile actually works again, eh? Edit: I tried again just to get the error message (I'm dedicated like that): How annoying...
Edit 2: I'm assuming that was yesterday morning.

Hopefully Herra will host as soon as he sees it, too. Updated my sig. ;D

Hey, Ultima! I'm sure glad I didn't find this site until after I temporarily discontinued work on my frontend. Use this if you want a more accurate list of Playstation BIOS (since BIOS files are named after their model). This site has the most complete list of Playstation models I've ever seen, and I'm 99% sure it's accurate... everything2.com/index.pl?node_id=1106816

Well, it's actually a list of Playstation models, but that means a BIOS should exist for each one. Don't forget it doesn't mention DTL-H3002, Ultima, so don't leave that out! I knew we could rely on you, Herra! As GM's already noticed, one more post and I go over the top! We're waiting to see what I become... maybe I'll develop strange powers?

Hey!!! Where's *my* credit for hosting the file like... yesterday?!? LOL... j/k. Seriously, though... HostFile better get working again soon, so we can go back to using it.
Yeah, don't leave out DTL-H3002, as me and patrickp are convinced that it actually exists (unless I prove otherwise once I get that program I'm looking for...).
Edit: Damnit... I'm changing my sig to host Ultima's frontend instead of mine. It's not like anybody's downloading mine anyway... (not to mention that when the site was redone, my file was lost in the internet void, so it's not there anyway...).

Oh, sorry, I didn't notice that, GM - that means someone can dl it every 15 minutes now? Well, as you pointed out, GM, DTL-H3002 _does_ have the European BIOS style so, kosher or not, I want to go on using it!

Yeah, that's how I feel. However, if I find it's just a renamed version of, say, SCPH1002... then it might as well be taken off the list. That probably isn't the case, but just saying...
Meh... every upload option counts... -.-;

I know. Still can't get that Actual European Screenshot onto HostFile, despite my recent deification. still, it's not anything you haven't seen.

@gamesoul Master: Thanks for that link to a bigger BIOS list, but somehow, I'm not convinced it's all that accurate -- for example, SCPH-2000 was an adapter, not another PlayStation model. SCPH-5500 is missing from the list (as is SCPH-103, and I'm willing to bet others might be). Net Yaroze was DTL-H3000, not sure why they make a distinction between DTL-3000 (never seen such a model number) and DTL-H3000. Meh, I'll Google each model to see what I come up with. Oh, and HostFile.org is back up and running, so my signature has the link Edit: Here's what I've found Googling... (43 models) DTLH1000.bin (JP - All) DTLH1001.bin (US - All) DTLH1002.bin (EU - All) DTLH1100.bin (JP - All) DTLH1101.bin (US - All) DTLH1102.bin (EU - All) DTLH1200.bin (JP - All) DTLH1201.bin (US - All) DTLH1202.bin (EU - All) DTLH3000.bin (JP - All) DTLH3001.bin (US - All) DTLH3002.bin (EU - All) SCPH1000.bin (JP) SCPH1001.bin (US) SCPH1002.bin (EU) SCPH3000.bin (JP) SCPH3500.bin (JP) SCPH5000.bin (JP) SCPH5001.bin (US) SCPH5002.bin (EU) SCPH5003.bin (AS) SCPH5500.bin (JP) SCPH5501.bin (US) SCPH5502.bin (EU) SCPH5503.bin (EU) SCPH5552.bin (EU) SCPH5903.bin (AS) SCPH7000.bin (JP) SCPH7001.bin (US) SCPH7002.bin (EU) SCPH7003.bin (AS) SCPH7500.bin (JP) SCPH7501.bin (US) SCPH7502.bin (EU) SCPH7503.bin (AS) SCPH9000.bin (JP) SCPH9001.bin (US) SCPH9002.bin (US) SCPH9003.bin (AS) SCPH100.bin (JP) SCPH101.bin (US) SCPH102.bin (EU) SCPH103.bin (AS) Edit: Hm, there seems to be a limit of 30 items that can be put in the dropdown menu...

And there's 43 of them... decisions, decisions...
As a general rule, I'd say leave out later ones: I think GM commented before that the earlier ones tend to be the more stable ones.
Although there's also the problem that the naffer ones may sometimes tend to be the ones people have: SCPH7502.bin, for instance; me & GM definitely agree it's the naffest European one, for several reasons, but it's the one most commonly recommended, and the one people are most likely to have.
I don't think a vote's a good idea; it leaves you to count everything up, which I don't think you'd enjoy... how about we just post our recommended lists and you use them as you see fit? So it's 30 items max, eh? Damn, I knew I should have designed the Universe better... ;D

I actually opted to remove the DTLH* BIOSes, as I highly doubt most people have access to them. Dunno, would you think otherwise?
