Wow... umm... I think they went a little overboard with the cooling there... LMAO. They should've tested Pcsx2!

I wish they'd release public betas on pcsx2. Lots of stuff fixed since 9.1 already, can't wait to test it out when they finally release it.

My one question is, is it as easy to use as MAME's advanced (not classic!) cheat program? If it's anything like making cheats in [pec] I'm in the dark!
As a general cheater there isn't much I can't do on the RAM side of things. I've made cheats for FCE Ultra, Snes9X, MAME/MESS (yes, PSX arcade hardware cheats have been made), VisualBoy Advance and others, but I can't get [pec] to do much but say "too many relults" in the ten thousands, or none at all. I only lokoed at it for about 10 minutes though and got bored.

@heihachi_73: It's not too bad. If you're used to searching cheats using cheat devices and emulators, this one will feel about the same. @apocalypse: Out of every code I've tried so far, only one has worked for me. "Ultimate Card Code" 50004D01 0000 30078658 00FF 50002101 0000 300786A5 00F0 800786C6 FFFF 800786C8 FFFF 300786CA 0001 Do not underestimate the usefulness of this code. Quezacotl (don't blame me for the spelling... that's the exact spelling in the game) has the very useful ability of "Card Mod"... turn this code on, and start modding the hell out of your cards. Then, using Tool RF or various other abilities for converting items... you should have more than enough to not only power up your characters by junctioning powerful spells, but also have more than enough items to do just about anything else you'd wanna do (like... going to the Junk Shop... ) I will continue to look for other codes that work, but honestly... that one, combined with my recommendation, should be more than enough for anything you may wanna do.

I'm not surprised that it stopped working... you're probably going to have to wait for GM on that. Unless he can find some kind of "generic" memory address to start searching from, this is likely going to happen from version to version of pSX.

Crap... figures that it wasn't general enough. The massive additions to the emulator don't help, as it changes things around a lot (as opposed to just making changes). I'll start cracking on that. If I have to, I'll make a separate entry for versions that use a different version. I would've done that before, but once I got the address working for v1.9, it worked for previous versions as well.
Oh, and if the link doesn't work, never fear. I'll be changing the site soon, so not only will bandwidth and "cleaning out" of older uploads not be a problem, but it'll be a direct download. hostfile.org is nice, but way too unreliable. It seems to go down way too much.
Edit: Making no changes to anything, I loaded Final Fantasy Tactics (NTSC-U) and once my game save was loaded (Ramza at lvl. 68), I turned on one code, for making Ramza lvl. 99. And guess what...? It worked just fine.
All I did when I turned on CEP, was I set the Process to pSX, set the base address search to Playstation (pSX), and went to the Cheats tab, typed in the code, hit return twice, typed .end, and hit On. And it worked. I didn't have to set anything else.
So... all I can tell y'all is that there aren't too many codes that this thing supports. Put many different codes in to find the right one, and make sure you're doing everything correctly and trying every suggestion I've made for getting codes to work. I think it's a matter of you people thinking that certain codes are simple and should work, but I'm telling you... out of 100 different codes, maybe 5-10 at most work with this program. CEP is by all means an alternative, but it's not a Gameshark or Codebreaker... it's uses are very limited unless you know a lot about hex editing or hacking in general. But in that case... you probably wouldn't be using CEP... lol.
